"Medicine in the Mountains” is brought to you by Aspen Valley Hospital (AVH).  AVH is a 25-bed critical access hospital that offers the best of two worlds:  the warmth and friendliness of a small town, and the technical expertise of a major medical center.  There are over 20 different medical specialties represented on staff, and the hospital is a national award winner for service excellence.

Ginny Dyche, host of “Medicine in the Mountains,” interviews physicians from the local area, as well as researchers and specialists from throughout the country.  Viewers learn about a variety of illnesses and injuries including early detection, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.  It’s a great way to “get to know” a local physician and determine if he/she might be the right healthcare provider for you.  In addition, you’ll hear about hospital services and the latest research on specific conditions.  Join us each week for this informative show brought to you by medical experts.
