Art Matters!

Art Matters! co-producer and host is Aspen Art Museum Director and Chief Curator Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson.  Prior to her tenure at the AAM — beginning June 2005 — Ms. Zuckerman Jacobson was the Phyllis Wattis MATRIX Curator at the University of California Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive.  Originally from New York, her curatorial experience also includes five years at The Jewish Museum and at Correct C.E., a self-founded and run alternative exhibition space.  She received her M.A. from CUNY Hunter College, New York, and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Art Matters!  is the Aspen Art Museum’s inside look at the visual arts in the Roaring Fork Valley and around the world.  Episodes feature content highlighting Aspen Art Museum exhibition programming, including interviews with prominent artists, curators, writers and museum professionals, collectors and gallerists, as well as private collection video tours and art trip segments.
