GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY TELEVISION ANNOUNCES JUMP IN FASCINATING SUMMER PROGRAMMING

Since expanding its cable and broadcast reach to Carbondale and Glenwood Springs this Spring, GrassRoots Community TV has seen a big jump in new programs produced by down valley residents. Along with the new summer series’, GrassRoots is helping connect busy local residents with many fascinating and important visiting speakers hosted by the Aspen Institute, Aspen Center for Physics, Aspen Writers Foundation, Aspen Science Center and other local organizations.
GrassRoots Community TV programming is available on cable channel 12 from Aspen to the Ranch at Roaring Fork, on cable channel 82 from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs, on Free TV channel 29.3 over the Pitkin County Translator System, and on grassrootstv.org via live stream and video-on-demand.

Kicking off its local lecture tradition this summer, the Aspen Institute partners with GrassRoots Community TV to present “Afghanistan/Pakistan: The National Security Challenge” by Admiral Michael Mullen (U.S. Navy), the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on July 4th.
