Ashley Allison, Program Development
With the title of program development, Ashley Allison helps eliminate any barriers locals may encounter in producing their own television programs.  Her experience helps community producers realize their dreams of creating television. 

A 2004 graduate of Appalachion State University in Boone, N.C., with a degree in electronic media and broadcasting, Allison was formerly studio and programming director at GrassRoots TV12, a job that she held after a one-year internship.  She resumes her position on staff after taking a sabbatical to pursue production opportunities with PBS in Washington, D.C., and New York City as the assistant producer of Kidscook production LLC.
